Daniel Sloss

At only 19, Scotland’s Daniel Sloss is currently one of the fastest rising stars of UK comedy. Having performed in front of a comedy club audience for the first time when he was 16, making him the youngest professional on the circuit, he has a powerful stage presence and brilliant material that belies his age.

Daniel’s seasons of his live stand-up shows during the 2008 and 2009 Edinburgh Festival Fringe sold out. His October 2009 debut in London’s Soho Theatre made him the youngest stand-up ever to perform a solo season in the West End.

Daniel is also a regular performer at the main comedy clubs around the country and he  made his national television stand-up debut on CH4’s Paul O’Grady Show in October 2009.

His BBC3 pilot – “The Adventures of Daniel” – transmits on Monday 23rd August at 9.30pm and autumn 2010 will see him on the BBC’s Rob Brydon Show and Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow.

Daniel says: Check out my Gig List and catch my shows LIVE. Or follow my Facebook fanpage which usually has a lot more going on than my boring website that my agent(info@mza-artists.com) says I should have. Or you can stalk me on Twitter @DannyS25.

He’s charming, self-deprecating and genuinely funny. If he continues to work with the passion, intelligence and energy that he’s started his career with, there’s absolutely no reason why he can’t become a huge star. So log the name: Daniel Sloss. If I were a betting man, I’d back him all the way.” TIME OUT, London

“This 18 year-old Fifer is a precocious talent … he is a confident, engaging stand-up with a big bag of material on puberty, sex education and Grand Theft Auto … He should go far. “  The Scotsman
